El Lodo plot
Biologist Ricardo returns to his native village as a conservationist, hoping to revive his marriage and family life. But the villagers are not happy with his arrival. They see him as a threat, because they fear that they will no longer be allowed to use the water in the local lagoon. Soon Ricardo is threatened, and when he learns that the previous biologist was found dead, he begins to fear for his life.
