"It's the most lethal deadline in history and if it's not met, three and a half million people will die!"

Journalist Barney Duncan wants to report on a small earthquake in the Australian outback. He learns that it was not an earthquake, but a nuclear explosion, caused by a group of international terrorists. If their demands are not met, they threaten to detonate a second nuclear bomb in central Sydney. Duncan must find the bomb before the deadline passes.
