Dead Write plot

Jade Harper is a successful writer who suffers from a mild form of schizophrenia. She is estranged from her father who considers her responsible for the deaths of her mother and sister. After her marriage ends, Jade returns to her hometown of Harmony. She hasn't been there in years and has even made up a story that she's writing a book about the history of the village with her teacher Mrs Copperfield, who used to be her one and only friend. However, the reason for her arrival is to confront her father, whom she has not seen for ten years.
