Das Teufelsweib plot

Leah Hoffman is after the five million from her husband Paul's life insurance policy. This is, on her behalf, shot during a vacation in Canada. The shooter, the young architect Maximilian, is a confidant of Paul and Leah's lover. Six months later, when everything seems to have blown over, Leah and Maximilian spend a romantic vacation on La Gomera. Receiving the money is only a matter of time. But happiness is soon threatened.
