Apartment #5C plot

Nicky and Uri are two Israelis with expired visas in New York who support themselves by robbing shops. One night Nicky accidentally gets a bullet in her leg from their own gun. Uri leaves in a panic, but the janitor Harold takes care of Nicky. They get into a relationship, against the wishes of Max, Harold's handicapped brother. He will therefore do everything in his power to end the relationship.
