The true story of the kidnapping of rebellious teenager John Paul Getty lll. In 1973, John Paul Getty III, the grandson of billionaire oil magnate John Paul Getty, is kidnapped in Rome. The wealthy oil tycoon then refuses to pay the large ransom demanded by the kidnappers, forcing the teen's mother to do whatever it takes to collect the money in time.

Excellent movie by Ridley Scott.
If the beginning is a bit hesitant, then follows a fascinating film adaptation of the kidnapping of the grandson of billionaire J. Paul Getty.
Intriguing story full of suspense.
Striking acting performance by Christopher Plummer, as the tough businessman with his equally hard-hitting views such as "Getting rich isn't hard, being rich is" and "When I see how I was surrounded by a pack of scumbags all my life, I have more to artifacts than to people. You know what's in them and they don't change." and of course his inexorable attitude towards the event.
In addition, Michelle Williams (when will she succeed in cashing in an Oscar nomination?) is also very witty in her role. Sober and firm and without tears, and yet not emotionless.
I really didn't recognize Romain Duris.
Smooth film with a great eye for dialogue and detail.

It wouldn't surprise me much if John Paul Getty has regularly served as a source of inspiration for Scrooge McDuck's character. Almost too bizarre to be true, but this story turns out to have actually happened. All the Money in the World is an atmospheric drama and biography at the same time, in which I would have liked to have seen much more from Christopher Plummer; because what a role this man plays here. Anyway, I think he's done better than Spacey has ever done because his resemblance to the real John Paul Getty is also very striking. The kidnapping, which the print mainly revolves around, was less interesting to me than the lifestyle of the richest man in the world at the time. This is because the tension here generally could have been a lot higher. The major role of Mark Wahlberg also influenced this because I thought he played a bit colorless. A bit on autopilot.
Personally, I would have found it more interesting if the kidnapping had been more in the background and the film had leaned more on John Paul Getty's past, especially as it would have allowed me to enjoy Plummer's acting even more. His role is already easily the highlight of the film, and therefore more than worth watching.
