Very mediocre.

Only watched because of the cast. Despite the reviews that Depp plays far from his best role here, it is often an actor that I am curious about. I have never found Theron incredibly special but reasonable as an actress.

To start off on a positive note, sometimes it is indeed quite atmospheric. The nightmare, the train and the dark corridors vault were filmed quite nicely. Theron acts reasonably well, but Depp is indeed a setback, not threatening and as if he didn't feel like it.

But that's about all. The film is long-winded and boring, dialogues to cry about, very little happens and a really incredible story is also hard to find. Fairly cliche and scares that just don't work.

Big disappointment, while so much more could be done with the idea. Unfortunately..

Mediocre film about an astronaut who survives an accident in space and returns to his wife on Earth. It all starts quite mysteriously, but the film quickly becomes monotonous and repetitive. It doesn't really want to be exciting. Charlize Theron is doing well and Johnny Depp gets too little to do.

Pretty bad.

I had absolutely no idea beforehand what this movie was going to be about. Recorded on VijfTV I suspected a romantic drama, but it turns out not to be at all. It's more of a long drawn-out thriller with some sci-fi. Johnny Depp gets to play the mysterious astronaut for two hours, something he does remarkably flat and stately. Charlize Theron brings a little more life to the brewery, unfortunately in a somewhat too sawy character.

But that's really just the bed in which the entire movie is sick. The tension is more of a TV level. It's really just a two hour wait to see if it will indeed be thee astronaut possessed by something alien or not. Unfortunately, too little is done with that character to make it something memorable. The logical end result is a mostly boring film.
