Journey through the Black Sun plot

"There is no escape from its deadly pull."

After a huge atomic explosion, the moon is thrown out of its orbit and all inhabitants of the moon colony Moonbase Alpha embark on a journey into the unknown. After a while, the base scientists determine that the moon will soon collide with the planet Astheria, endangering the survival of both humans and Astherians.
