"The darkest force of destruction is the only hope for salvation"
In the distant future, war and peace walk side by side in the pseudo-utopian place called Jesus Town (formerly Jerusalem). Ruled by a cruel seraphim named Giriev and his android companion Mikhail, the inhabitants long for total peace. Then an android awakens from an already lost civilization, codenamed Hakaider. At first, he quickly puts down any kind of revolution, but when he meets the rebel girl Kaoru, his old memory begins to return.
