Divinity plot
The scientist Sterling Pierce devoted his life to the quest for immortality. He is therefore at the basis of the serum Divinity, of which his son Jaxxon is now in control. Yes, this was a special one. In terms of content, I was a bit lost. In a dystopian world, a serum was discovered that brings humans to immortality and divinity. Two figures - no idea where they came from - wanted to prevent that. What follows is a crazy trip of beats and visual spectacle.
It is a film that mainly excels in upbeat electronic music, very pumping and fitting. The atmosphere was certainly good. Also visually quite a picture, not only because of the sometimes flashy images, but also with the color shades. Bright white pigments such as that serum or the lightning that provided a nice contrast with the very dark gray setting.
At the end we get a kind of anime fight, it looked clumsy with the golem, but that seemed deliberate to me. It was more difficult for me to place those women in the film, but you just have to experience it. Not a mainstream film at all.
