INTER SCI climatologist David Koch (Jeff Fahey) has found evidence that a shift in the Earth's magnetic field caused the ice age to take place in one day. Now it's happening again, and there's no time to run. As temperatures plummet, Miami is covered in snow and ice, and all exit roads are closed. The only chance David, his ex-girlfriend Bryn (Erika Eleniak) and a few other survivors have is to hide in a special temperature chamber of INTER SCI. A desperate battle against Mother Nature begins as temperatures drop to -273°C, the absolute downside.
