You Are the One plot

"Would you rather love someone who completes you... Or someone who loves you completely?"

Sally Malasmas reluctantly applies for a US visa. Her parents want their little family to be reunited. The rest of her family, mother, father and older sister Charry are already in the US. They worry that she feels lonely in the Philippines. But her life in the Philippines, surrounded by loving, loyal friends and colleagues, is almost perfect. During the interview for her visa application, things go awry and her application is abruptly refused by the handsome but dismissive American Consul Will Derby.
