The Mistress of Spices plot
"One spice for passion. And one woman who knows its name."
Tilo is an Indian immigrant to America. She owns a spice shop in San Francisco and a magical ability to accurately gauge the characters and desires of her customers. As a result, she sells them exactly the herbs that will satisfy their desires. There are some rules to this gift: Tilo must never leave the store, never touch another person and only love her herbs. Otherwise, the power of the herbs will cease to exist. However, when Doug walks into her shop, Tilo feels his own feelings for him for the first time. When she also gets closer and closer to him, it has major consequences for her gift and the lives of her customers who go completely wrong.
