Donne con le Gonne plot
Renzo (Francesco Nuti) and Margherita (Carole Bouquet) are a married couple who love each other dearly, but Renzo believes women belong in the kitchen and Margherita disagrees. The story begins in the courtroom, where Margherita is suing Renzo. Looking back, we see Renzo's childhood, his bourgeois and conservative parents, his first meeting with the independent girl who will later become his wife, but with whom he first starts living together. During a relationship crisis, she tells him that he has not satisfied her sexually for a long time.
