A plane full of mail crashes in the French Alps. Immediately a rescue operation is launched to secure the post. Smells of money to escape his village and start a new life, young Christopher Teller joins the rescue squad. However, he is not admitted, although his brother Zachary, who also leads the team, makes an effort for him. After several setbacks, the rescue team gives up, but Christopher makes an attempt to reach the wreck one night after learning that there was gold on board the plane. Zachary decides to show his brother the way, although he is aware of the dangers that lie ahead.
