It’s Valentine’s Day in Manhattan. Finn, an artistic photographer, must supplement his income by driving for a ride-sharing car service. His last passenger to drop off that afternoon is Hannah, a product developer for a chocolate company. Unlike Finn, she’s a hopeful romantic. During an unplanned stop, Hannah finds a ring box with an engagement ring inside wedged in the backseat of the car. Instead of Finn’s routine of dropping off lost items at the Brooklyn headquarters, Hannah convinces him to find the person who lost the ring to ensure its intended recipient gets it.
