Bob "Three Star" is the best pilot of Trans America Lines. When he's not flying for society, he gets himself into trouble by performing stunts over the fields. His great love is Judy Wagner, a flight attendant for the same airline. Tom Wagner, her younger brother has just started at Trans America Lines as a pilot. Tom and Bob must complete a secret mission and fly a scientist with his new high-explosive invention to Washington. When the plane explodes in flight, a race begins between the security forces and foreign powers to get their hands on the invention.
