Kuchinai Sakura plot

A university student was stalked and murdered by a man. According to a local newspaper scoop, a police officer did not handle the victim's complaint properly. While the police try to find out who leaked the news, Izumi Moriguchi suspects that reporter Chika Tsumura, her best friend, is behind the leak. She denies any wrongdoing and is found dead a week later. Overcome with remorse and guilt, Izumi sets out to find the person responsible for her friend's death.
