"Buried deep in the Florida Everglades is a secret that can save an innocent man or let a killer kill again."
A Florida state prison: Bobby Earl Ferguson, a black student, faces the death penalty for a crime he pleads innocent: the rape and murder of a schoolgirl. He enlists the help of Paul Armstrong, a well-known lawyer and journalist. Convinced as he is, Armstrong manages to reopen the file, and even manages the release of the young black. However, a series of gruesome massacres soon terrorize the entire region.

Nice film about a former lawyer who investigates a murder case of a death row inmate. An entertaining John Grisham-esque plot where the location (Florida) provides the atmosphere. Although the film has a good twist, the rest is a bit predictable. Just not 3.5 stars, it's all too standard for that.

The first part of Just Cause is atmospheric and intriguing, but unfortunately things quickly deteriorate after that. The big twist and what happened after that is too ridiculous for words. With Connery, Fishburne, Harris, an atmospheric setting and an exciting courtroom drama, you have gold in your hands. But what happens in the last part belongs more to a bad thriller/action movie. Eternal sin. Note the supporting role of a very young Scarlett Johansson, who here plays Connery's daughter.

Fantastic movie starring "James Bond". This Sean Connery once again plays a very strong role in this film with a good story and a few nice twists woven into it.
I don't have to reveal anything about the story, the content is in the description above, but the film surprised us a few times. The environment in which the film takes place was also impressive. at least if you like mangrove forests)
Hence (and because of the excellent cast who did his/her job well) an 8 for the appreciation!
