Visually quite nice at times, but I can't do anything with the story. The disadvantage is that it all takes place in one location. Then it gets boring for me. Abigail Breslin played quite nicely and that one guy looked quite creepy, but that's about it for me.

No, just give me Natali's excellent s/f films like Cube and Cypher. Ten times better.

Very nice movie.

Find Natali the best. This Haunter, however, I call my favorite. Very nice atmosphere, also cool that jump in time and the associated settings and decors. The drama is also nice. Not overdone, works well on the feel and the ending is appropriate in the end.

3.5*

Breslin isn't bad in the lead role, and McHattie is pleasantly sinister as the dreaded 'Pale Man' in this muddled, rarely startling horror twist on Groundhog Day. Lisa [Breslin] is the first family member to realize that she and her parents and younger brother have been reliving the same day for years. She also knows what happens at 1:15 at night and is trying to figure out how to get out of this 'loop'. To do that, she has to deal with the 'Pale Man' [McHattie]. Think to be smart, but go too far in the attempt to be 'intelligent'. Frustrating and therefore not very compelling.
