Born a foundling with her Irish foster father Shamus Tobin, beautiful Molly now dreams of a rich man. When she meets Johnny Brown, he is a bit disappointed at first, but when she finds out that he owns a silver mine, she marries him. Luck smiles on Johnny and he finds a gold mine. Now that they have a lot of money, they buy a villa in a nice neighborhood, but the neighbors turn their noses at the fallen young couple.
