"She's in the Movies Now!"
The Smith family's farm is threatened by Mr. Blair of the General Power and Water Company. He is trying to force farmers in Walasco County to sell their water rights to him. Hunt Blake, an envoy from this energy company, quickly falls in love with Lily Smith when he tries to convince her sister Kate to work with Blair. After Hunt proposes to Lily, he quits his job at the power company. But when Hunt and Lily decide to move to San Francisco, Jed, who spent years working on the Smith family's farm, tries to convince both of them to stay and help Kate fight the energy company.
