Die Czardasfürstin plot

Wherever the famous revue star Sylva Varescu (Marika Rökk) performs, she always turns the heads of men. In Buenos Aires, a plantation owner falls for her and in Sicily a rich merchant falls in love with her. And now the Hungarian count Edwin von Weylersheim (Johannes Heesters), who saw the enchanted singer perform in Rome, has fallen for her charms. Sylva first sees the enamored count as yet another admirer, but is then forced to discover that this man is a lot more persistent than everyone else. In fact, Edwin von Weylersheim is so impressed with the beautiful Sylva that he even forgets his betrothed.
