Gambler Little Joe Jackson is shot dead, but his wife Petunia prays for his life so desperately that God gives him a six-month reprieve. During this period, a fierce battle erupts between the heavenly general and the devilish Lucifer Jr. for the soul of the poor sinner. Cabin in the Sky is Vincente Minnelli's first feature film.
