Wolf Creek plot
"The thrill is in the hunt."
Kristy Earl, Ben Mitchell and Liz Hunter are three friends who decide to go backpacking in Australia's Wolf Creek National Park. But the problems start when their car won't start and they can't get away. Then they meet the friendly Mick Taylor, a man who lives nearby. It seems that Mick will help the threesome and that they can still get home safely, but nothing could be further from the truth. The big nightmare for the threesome has only just begun.

I do have a soft spot for these kinds of films and this doesn't detract from the somewhat slower build-up. For the rest, the atmosphere is great and the film is over before you know it and you have enjoyed yourself immensely, then that is very successful as a film. I like the 2 even better. These 8 the 2 an 8.5/10.

In the expanse of the Australian outback, three friends go backpacking in the Wolf Creek Nature Reserve.
When they go to refuel at a shabby gas station, where some people from the region hang out, you can already imagine how wet.
The joy of the newly started holiday is soon over. After the first night of camping, one of the three awakens, tied up in a shed... Where are the other two? Mick "takes care" of her... Mick is perfectly cast as the creepy, extremely sadistic maniac with a penchant for torture. It is a matter for the victims to stay out of his hands, with little success. Fine over the top horror, with gore, exciting story, all the clichés that should be in this kind of horror, but also beautiful panoramic film images that give the film that little bit extra.
