A fairly mediocre story, in which the killer with the screen outfit provides a big plus. The film is mainly of the 13 in a dozen type in which there is unfortunately little tension. The film has a strong setting with the events in the mine, but is otherwise not convincing. Where the cast was still entertaining in Urban Legend, this successor has weak characters and the denouement is presented in a mediocre way.

“Urban legend, my ass.”

Bad. In itself I quite enjoyed myself with all the nonsense, and it is also nice to see all those famous actors and actresses at the beginning of their careers. Mendes, Morrison, Anderson, Barret etc. Everyone has to start somewhere, so why not in a mediocre slasher movie. The acting is abysmal at times and especially the dual role of Davis is ridiculous, but it's so bad I could laugh about it too. Plus point are some inventive murder scenes.

Stupid continuation.

The first part was especially enjoyable because it crammed a horror movie with references to well-known campfire stories. I didn't recognize them all but I knew they were there. To get straight to the point with this film: where were those references? I only recognized one.

And that then happens in the opening. I also looked up the legends after the movie ended and thought it was bland. A single dialogue of the film must contain a reference. The murders often stand alone with the exception of 1 or 2 scenes. This makes the current serial killer more central than the concept on which the film builds, and that is a loss.

Furthermore, a rather reserved course with only a few bright spots at the end of the dark tunnel. Boring decor and creativity that is nowhere to be seen after the first 20 minutes. In any case, Killer is very boring. The actions that this figure makes are rarely interesting to keep track of. Just think it's a bitch though.

Finale still shows some potential, but the outcome can be called downright ridiculous. Final Cut is a film that wanted to get into the roots of the first film in terms of tone, but still lacks its charm. The first part wasn't perfect, but this is downright boring. Completely charismatic with extremely boring characters who barely manage to breathe life into things. Don't say much more about it.
