The Thing in the Coffin plot

"An experimental Dracula-adaptation."

Count Dracula is an immortal vampire who wanders at night, drinking the blood of the living. By day, he sleeps in his coffin in the castle crypt. This film is an abstract, experimental reinterpretation of Dracula, combining analog and digital footage—from Super 8 to 35mm—in a vision that transforms the Gothic eroticism of Stoker's novel into a haunting new audiovisual experience.
