The Night Strangler plot
Journalist Kolchack ends up in Seattle, where a maniac has murdered several young women and robbed them of their brain fluid. With the assistance of an ingenious librarian, the reporter discovers that similar misdeeds have occurred at regular intervals in the past and that the same number of victims have been killed each time. In addition, according to the scant evidence, the perpetrator is a walking corpse, in an advanced state of decomposition.
