Jake is the spitting image of his father and does a great job as a psychopath.

Film with a decent pace and enough action.

Story is simple but not boring.

Ending was pretty awesome and mysterious.

Terrible sequel that has an incredibly bad story. The beginning alone, the return of the victim is incredibly far-fetched and actually it remains that way for the rest of the film. Far-fetched scenes that are ill-considered and a lack of tension (especially because of that). Then also a bad bad guy and boring role of Wuhrer and there is actually no reason left to watch this film (finish).

Clumsy, but entertaining sequel to the action classic from 1986. Director Louis Morneau makes no effort to surpass the first part, but does ensure that this sequel remains enjoyable to watch. In this way, the film has a lot of entertaining action moments, among which the finale is certainly one in terms of bombastic nonsense. Kari Wuhrer and Jake Busey also do well, although Morneau could have focused a bit more on a distinctive personality. Both members fulfill their role in a somewhat too safe and familiar way, but fortunately it does not spoil the fun. It is a pity that the first half is shown rather dry and bare and the romance does not get off the ground at all. In fact, the film makes no sense at all and does not bring much that you should actively set it up for, but the running time is over quickly.
