"Every child needs to feel loved."
Greta is a young American woman who takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village. She ends up with a remarkable family who are asked to babysit a lifelike doll. The couple uses the puppet to cope with the loss of their son, but the nanny suspects that the toy is in fact alive.

Very nice movie.
Where The Boy mainly distinguishes itself from other genre films of recent years, is the fact that they don't show much. Don't expect over the top special effects or ridiculously exaggerated scares. The whole movie is a slow, slow motion, but remains exciting almost continuously. The atmosphere is good and the ending surprised me in a positive way. Add to that Lauren Cohen, always a plus and you have a very amusing horror movie.

Watched this thriller and was pleasantly surprised. A mysterious film that captivated me from start to finish. I thought it was a good denouement that certainly didn't disappoint me.
The cast also did a great job and the film had 2 scares.
