Shadow of God plot

When several Vatican exorcists are killed simultaneously, Father Mason Harper returns to his childhood home to spend time with a childhood friend while he awaits instructions from the church. The town holds dark secrets about Mason’s past and the religious organization once led by his father, Angus. When they are reunited, Angus is very different. Mason suspects he is possessed. Not by a devil, but by something holy.

Ridiculous religious horror in which preacher Mason Harpere [Mark O'Brien] comes face to face with his deceased, devout father Angus [Shaun Johnston] who has saddled his son with a handful of childhood traumas. Mason suspects that the devil is responsible for his father's resurrection and decides to perform an exorcism. This leads to a conflict with the religious community his father was a member of. They think that Angus is filled with the Holy Spirit. At times so bad that it's funny. Otherwise this is extremely annoying.
