"The gates of hell have been opened."

Officer Jake goes to a shooting in a shopping mall where he ends up in the other dimension called the Hindrance. Assisted by a mysterious novice monk, Jake must race against time to save his wife. He must also stop the occultist Mek who will do anything to open the gates of hell.

De intro van onze film is vol intrige en spanning, en bovendien een waar spektakel van bloederige beelden. Al vroeg in de film heersen chaos en terreur, en het lijkt erop dat iedereen in de problemen zit zonder een van de hoofdpersonages.

De effecten tijdens de chaos zijn indrukwekkend, en fantastisch is een understatement voor de beelden die in een cruciale scène worden gebruikt. De scène is nu een en al chaos, en het is moeilijk te beschrijven zonder de film te verklappen. Het verhaal komt in zijn opbouw tot een hoogtepunt en wordt met de minuut spannender.

Een echt leuke actie-horrorfilm, met veel waanzinnig geweld voor de liefhebbers en genoeg wezens voor de horror-/sciencefictionfans onder ons.
