Sette Scialli di Seta Gialla plot

A secretive killer kills mannequins by using a black cat whose claws were dipped in curare. A composer, whose girlfriend was the first girl to be victimized, overhears a conversation from someone who could be the culprit, but there's one problem: the composer is blind and so couldn't see the suspected killer.

A decent mid-range film from the Giallo subgenre. The mysterious killer with the leather gloves, the mysterious woman with the cape, the razor, a deadly black cat, and a slasher scene that Fulci would still dream of as its main selling point.

A thrilling giallo where the horror segment didn't show up until 10 minutes before the end, but that killing, and I'm talking about the shower scene, was incredibly intense. The scene in Hitchcock's Psycho is nothing compared to that. The killings using a black cat are interesting and quite original. Well, you just have to think of it.

3.5*

One of those giallos where the focus is on an animal. Heavily inspired by the work of Dario Argento, it also includes a particularly nasty tribute to Hitchcock for its time. The action takes place in Copenhagen—we often see international productions in this genre. But otherwise, it has everything a giallo needs: mystery, decadence, a cold-blooded killer, a good soundtrack, 70s design (no merit in itself, but whatever), atmospheric composition, and some gory moments. The scene at the construction site stands out. A successful film.
