Mother's Day plot

"Don't Misbehave."

Daniel (Frank Grillo) and Beth Sohapi (Jaime King) have invited a bunch of friends over for their house warming, but the party doesn't last long. Three brothers loose, one of them seriously injured, break into the house after a robbery that didn't go according to plan. To keep their hiding place a secret, there is no other option than to take everyone hostage. Then they wait for their mother (Rebecca De Mornay), who is brought to the house by their sister Lydia (Deborah Ann Woll) to take over command. The arrival of the neat lady gives the hostages new hope, but that disappears like snow in the sun when she shows her true, sadistic face. Any attempt to put an end to their predicament is punished brutally, bloodily and mercilessly by her and her sons...

Reviewed this one again. Knew I could taste this one. Film flies in pretty quickly and keeps the viewer busy with invasion, a sadistic führer "mother" and her herd of children, who are frolicking along on a tight rope. You also get enough craziness, but it doesn't really break the film. There is such a big dose of amusing value in the cat and mouse game… in the end there are no winners, just love endings like that.

Beth [Jaime King] and Daniel [Frank Grillo] have some friends over for a house warming when they receive an unexpected and unpleasant visit from brothers Ike [Patrick John Flueger, Johnny [Matt O'Leary] and Johnny [Matt O'Leary ], who was seriously injured in a robbery. When the brothers discover that their mother [Rebecca de Mornay] and sister Lydia [Deborah Ann Woll] no longer live with them, they take the crowd hostage and contact their mother to decide what to do next. Remake of mediocre 1980 pulp film has a better plot, better developed characters and a phenomenal work by Rebecca de Mornay who portrays one of the most memorable villains in recent cinema history and lifts this film far above average.
