Mina ni Ko Are plot
A nursing student visits her grandparents on the farm. Whether it's because of their age or because she hasn't seen them in a long time, they certainly behave very strangely. One moment they are overly happy, and then they make the strangest noises or stare motionlessly at the ceiling. Reason enough for our protagonist to explore. What secret lies behind the closed door in question? And does the truth benefit her own happiness?

A girl [Kotona Furukuwa] is staying with her grandpa [Masashi Arifuku] and grandma [Yoshio Inuyama] in a village where, as she discovers, people are willing to go to great lengths to be happy. It has a few decent jump scares, but is primarily a dark satire about the obsessive pursuit of happiness. Arifuku and Inuyama are excellent as the parents, but the mix of horror and black comedy is only partially successful.
