Nice film in which the young beautiful Elisabeth Shue and the three monkeys manage to keep the viewer's attention until the end. Nice location and some cool scenes with the monkeys. Voodoo, Elm and especially Link himself provide some striking and exciting scenes. Patient, smart and aggressive when needed. The story may not be that much, but the ending does give a completely different view of the story so that you can better assess the structure, the actions of the monkeys and the consequences. A nice, surprising ending that I didn't see coming. 7/10

With a little surprising story and a negligible tension, Link is quite disappointing. It is that the animal characters occasionally generate some nice action, because there is little else to do.

A tame film, in which the monkeys are fantastically performed. The threat must come from one monkey in particular. The monkey named Link, who is assigned the role of aggressor. However, because this monkey mainly emphasizes the social side, it is difficult to take the threat of the monkey seriously. Link has a great facial expression. He rolls his eyes funny and acts like a rowdy child. Pretty fun to watch, but he's not a horror-worthy threat.

The soundtrack doesn't help to bring any tension or threat into the film. A recurring tune that brought me back to the years when the merry-go-round at the fair was still an exciting attraction, gives the film a certain lightness. All exciting actions that take place under the accompaniment of this fairground tune immediately lose their potential threat.

And then there's Elisabeth Shue. Yes. Beautiful. She can even be seen in the bathroom without clothes for a while. She does not deliver good acting. I've seen it better with her. Her character also has too little low to have to bring out all the acting talent for that. That goes for every human character in the film, by the way. Flat creatures. The film mainly revolves around the monkey Link, who does have a character with virtues and vices. I actually think the monkey named Link puts in the best acting performance.

The movie called Link was quite disappointing.

Mediocre film in which a woman starts working as an assistant for a professor who works with monkeys. A meager story, too little progress and the somewhat different music is sometimes irritating. It doesn't really want to be exciting. The scenes with the monkeys are entertaining and the film contains some nice shots here and there.
