La Venganza de la Llorona plot
Santo is contacted by Professor Lira, a respected expert on Mexico's folk legends. The scholar asks for his help in opening a secret tomb of a noble woman, Doña Eugenia Esparza, who three centuries ago made a pact with the devil to take revenge on the man who abandoned her for another woman. She then poisoned his sons, committed suicide and was buried with a locket containing a map of a hidden treasure.
