Kaibyô Nazo no Shamisen plot
Mitsue is a possessive actress who is engaged to Seijiro, an apprentice shamisen player (shamisen is a traditional Japanese string instrument). One day, Seijiro's stray cat returns home, trailing the beautiful and young woman Okiyo. Soon, Okiyo falls hopelessly in love with Seijiro. When Seijiro gives his precious shamisen to Okiyo, Mitsue's jealousy peaks and she decides to take action.
