"Jeepers Creepers"
During their journey home, Trish and her brother Darry are nearly run off the road by a dirty old van. Moments later, they see the driver of the van dumping something at an abandoned church. Darry decides to take a look, then makes a horrifying discovery in the church's basement. The two decide to go to the police, but then find out that the driver of the van doesn't want to leave them alone. He wants something from them.

Not special.
The now quite well-known Jeepers Creepers was typically such a film that I actually have yet to see. So once on a lazy afternoon put on the movie. I looked with fairly high expectations, but they were not really fulfilled.
The film is at its strongest in the beginning. Long and Philips act pretty well, but the creeper actually doesn't look exactly terrifying. I actually thought he was funny, despite the deeds he does. The film has some strong moments, but otherwise it fails in terms of suspense.
Decent acting but a rather boring horror film. Had expected much more from this, partly due to its status. The opening was good with that loud horn. And the exploration of the Creeper's lair was also exciting. Then you've pretty much seen it again.

Fairly agree with the first sentence of the preceding. Let's say the first half is very exciting after that it only goes down thanks to, among other things, the ridiculous dialogues regarding the clairvoyant. In the first half there is a lot of mystery about the film, and it has already been proven that something like this is very popular with the film lover. As soon as the creature gets a more prominent place, it becomes a lot less. It's a classic horror movie mistake not to keep up the secrecy all the time. But I have to say that overall it turned out to be a reasonably above-average horror film and I didn't give up.

Watched it again recently and it is surely a horror film that stands head and shoulders above the rest. The story is solid and there is a balanced mix of suspense, convincing shock effects and the creep in the story is something different than you would expect. This kind of horror really appeals to me and I'm really looking forward to Jeepers Creepers Reborn coming out in September this year.
