Il Bacio di una Morta plot
Countess Clara Serra Travia is in love with Andrea Valverde, but accepts the hand of Count Guido Lampedusa Rambaldi when she learns from her governess that Andrea is her half-brother. Clara has a daughter Lilia and Andrea leaves with the Italian army for Libya. Clara goes to stay with Yvonne, who has been a mistress of Guido unknowingly. Out of jealousy and envy, Yvonne poisons her. Clara is buried in a state of catalepsy. However, Andrea opens her grave.
