"Sometimes the Past has a Way of Digging Itself Up"

A boy Alex is beaten and abused by his stepfather Karl and finds comfort in his good friends Mike and Phil. When they hang out at the garage they run, they see the city being taken over by flesh-eating zombies. As they try to fight their way through the zombie hordes to safety, they also search for Alex's missing mother.
