Ginî Piggu 2: Chiniku no Hana plot
Deep in the night, a woman is kidnapped by an unknown assailant dressed as a samurai. The man takes her to his underground dungeon, where he wants to turn her into a "flower of flesh and blood". This by taking her apart and cutting it apart.

A film with quite a reputation, and a regular guest in lists of the most disgusting, filthy, controversial films. And yes, you can see why, the premise says enough: man in samurai costume kidnaps a woman, to then dissect her. Still, this was surprisingly watchable: the length is fairly modest, and although it is quite gory and bloody, it was still watchable. The special effects are quite nice, although it is still quite clear with every shot how they did it. This is definitely not my favorite type of film, but still an experience richer.

Impressive presentation of practical effects, despite the total lack of content. Fortunately, director Hideshi Hino does not pretend much and ends his film after only 42 minutes. Such a short duration is still too long to hide the fact that the acting has little to offer and the effects are less strong towards the finale, but concentrated and uninhibited projects like this are not often seen these days. Not for viewers with a weak stomach, but for the seasoned horror lovers who like their horror extreme.
