"A tidal wave of slithering, slimy horror devouring, destroying all in its path!"
Jason Crockett, an old, cranky, physically disabled man, hates nature and poisons everything living on his estate. On the night of his birthday, when all the family members are present, the frogs and other creations of nature take revenge on Crockett.

The poster with a so-called killer frog is indeed laughable and does not apply to this film at all. Seen as a Horror, this film is quite cringeworthy, if you look at it as a nature film then it is quite beautiful because the images of frogs, snakes, spiders and other reptiles looked beautiful. Anyway, this is not a nature film but a horror film. For a horror film, the execution is just terrible and it is never exciting (rather laughable, which is often the case). The cast is also not much, with the exception of the mustacheless Sam Elliott and Ray Milland who did a reasonable job, especially the latter. Because the film only lasts about 90 minutes, it is still watchable. The sultry atmosphere was also nice.

Man destroys nature and nature takes revenge. Good basis for a horror movie. Only it's all a bit too well-behaved. The film should focus more on suggestive tension than gory murders. It's not scary enough. Acting performances are ok. Just above average so 3 stars from me.
