Well, what can I say about this?
Maybe more fun for boys than for women, but it remains a very cheap, weak horror film (if you also follow the story through the women)
I don't understand why everyone is talking about Jenna, because I've never seen such an ugly inflatable doll, which, by the way, was almost all the women in this film.
But yeah, I can just take off one star because of some mediocre scenes.
1* so.

Yes, it's raining quality again in the Woland household. To be honest, expectations were quite low, with not only a mediocre score (it's a big turkey), but also a cast consisting mainly of a whole bunch of porn actresses. All of them in normal film roles where they don't have to undress very often, if at all, and in all honesty, compared to the rest of the cast, they don't even do that badly. A few of those male actors are absolutely unbearable. But that this is a cheap vehicle for some well-known names, without an interesting plot or suspense, that much is clear. It's all run-of-the-mill: a group of American tourists ends up in the Irish woods, there's a local legend about a cannibalistic, inbred family, and guess what, that legend turns out to be true. It looks cheap, not much gore, it doesn't surprise, and certainly doesn't move forward much in the first half. Not that it gets much better once the cannibals are on screen, but at least something happens. The funniest scene with a decapitated torso on the barbecue also occurs in the intro.

As a Halloween horror film, this has very little to do with the holiday in question. While the title does indicate Samhain, what director Christian Viel ultimately offers is a group of youngsters taking on a sort of deformed hillbilly. In that respect, it is clear that some adjustments were made to the production after the fact, but fortunately, Evil Breed captures the 2000s atmosphere quite well. Moreover, the cast members do a decent job, although there are few who truly manage to impress. The most regrettable aspect of it all is that it takes well over 50 minutes before the local ghoul comes strolling out of the woods, and then Viel rushes through all the murders. It is undoubtedly quite entertaining, but far from outstanding.
