During a class visit to a local psychiatric hospital, young psychology student Abby Jones has a chilling encounter with high-risk patient Harmon Jaxon. When she returns home for a regular study evening with two friends, she has no idea what she has unleashed in Jaxon. Later that night, a storm hits with Jaxon fleeing, leaving a trail of death and destruction on his way to the unsuspecting Abby. While the girls are asleep, the storm takes an evil turn that leaves their neighborhood in darkness, and soon they are caught in Jaxon's web of terror.
