Could have been better.

It's nice that these types of films take different paths, we've had the whole mutated hillbilly thing for about 10 years now. The problem with these creature flicks is that they are a bit more difficult to put together.

For the most part, Andrews does a pretty good job. Especially the scenes at the beginning of the night, when the creature is still safely in the shadows, have some nice horror scenes. But the budget is clearly not up to the shots where the thing needs to be seen more clearly. Yet the eternal problem with films like this.

Towards the end it becomes a bit too ridiculous and the thing loses its impact. Too bad, but unfortunately, Creature is going the same way as so many before it. The rest is an entertaining and fairly smooth horror film, but it is not really striking.

2.5*

Watched this film on Blu-ray today.

I went into it with little expectation, but I was 100% pleased with it, I expected a kind of crocodile movie like ''Alligator'', which seems to be the case when you see the beginning of this film, but it is a kind of monster movie.

A number of ''heated'' young people who go out for a while come into contact with a kind of creature that walks / swims around, it also turns out to be a God of the population there.

From the moment the film starts we see 1 girl appear completely naked, then once the film has started the breasts of the 2 girls who play the ''main roles'' also follow.

As the film progresses you get to know the story of the monster and we see bloody and sometimes violent scenes, not only the monster, but also a number of people from the population are targeting them.

The young people die one by one, although not all of them...

The final battle was also very well presented and terrifying!

Also original with the quicksand and the dark caves..

All in all a very enjoyable horror film that is certainly not low budget, but just very well made with the monster!
