Buppah Rahtree plot
"A new kind of terror takes root..."
A couple of people with a minimal income live in an old rented house. The landlord of this house is Mrs. See, an old and stingy person. When college student Buppha Ratree dies in her apartment from complications after a botched abortion, the girl decides to return as an evil spirit to exact revenge on her former lover. But unfortunately the inhabitants of the rented house in question become the first victims of her resentment.

Ik ben geschokt, maar tegelijkertijd ook weer niet, door het gewetenloze gedrag van de personages die de film ons heeft voorgesteld. De tragische sfeer is overal voelbaar en er vinden bovennatuurlijke verschijnselen plaats in een appartementencomplex.
Dit is een absurde horrorfilm, met veel grappige momenten puur voor de lol, en het is eigenlijk een leuke mix met de paranormale entiteit die zich manifesteert. De religieuze aspecten van de interacties zijn hilarisch en zeer vermakelijk, en er lijkt nog meer bovennatuurlijke hilariteit van hen te komen.
