Very effective creepy thriller that still has a very low rating here!

It would all be based on true facts, but is that really the case?

The whole thing is filmed unconventionally and the ending is very surprising!

A little more explanation would have been better, but this is still one of the best thrillers I have seen in recent months! Recommended!!

Pretty okay.

Although it took a while before I was convinced of that. The beginning isn't really that good. Brad's painfully bad acting makes the start of the film a lot more unpleasant than necessary.

What's strange is that this film only really gets going when the situation becomes clear. The opposite is often true in most horror films. But the guy is playing quite well and the situation is quite interesting.

The gore also deserves a little praise. There are some very effective and dirty scenes in it. Visually it varies. Sometimes really cheap, sometimes skilfully concealed through good use of filters and effects.

Mason remains a fascinating horror director. He continues to push the boundaries of genre work, because at the very least he always produces a fascinating film. This also applies to this one, although you can still notice that he was looking for his own style.

3.0*

Macabre horror film single-handedly destroyed by the unconvincing performance of Nadja Brand, who, especially in the first half, does not emerge as a victim at all. In particular, the display of emotion does not come across and Eric Colvin as a psychopathic opponent unfortunately cannot carry the film. It is only towards the second half that the film by director duo Simon Boyes and Adam Mason hits the brakes with a number of genuinely grisly, atmospheric moments. Moreover, another member is added to the whole thing that gives things a bit more weight. The practical Broken team comes up with gloomy horror effects that provide the event with an extra sinister layer, making it a film that has nothing to say at all. The direction is also quite atmospheric for the small budget and the camera work is striking, but it simply takes far too long for the film to get going and Brand continues to act like a wet newspaper for the entire running time.
