In the woods, a group of teenagers stumble upon a cursed knife. In doing so, they unleash an evil demon that will not rest until it has claimed all their lives and souls. Directors Ari Costa and Eren Celeboglu jump into the conducting of his horror debut with full dedication. The enthusiasm regularly radiates from All Fun and Games, which gives the impression early on that the recordings were a big party. Unfortunately, the duo quickly falls into almost constant interruptions to the past of the concept in question, each of which is provided with a loud (shock) volume. I personally have few problems with jump scares, but this film delivers them very easily. Partly because of this, the cheap impression is always present, but that does not stop it from being an entertaining genre work. The pace is quite good and Asa Butterfield and Natalia Dyer in particular play very well. The young Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, only about 12-13 years old during the recording, also plays strongly. On a conceptual level, the film squeezes out enough fun to make an entertaining experience possible, but fails to push harder on both the slasher level and the tension level. Almost everything in this film screams for a tough approach, but the final direction remains too tame to effectively listen to those signals. With only 96 minutes on the clock, the film passes the viewer by at great speed, but there is too much to criticize in terms of content to justify a passing grade.

Weak horror movie. The story is far from original and has no surprises. The effect is very poor. The film runs smoothly, but for a horror film it is not scary or exciting at all. This is mainly due to the clichéd effect and predictability. You can see jumpscares coming from afar and the poor acting makes it all seem very amateurish. Visually the film is just okay. 2.0
