The Woman God Forgot plot

Moctezuma, the Aztec king, is outraged by the Spanish intervention, which has converted the Aztecs to Christianity. But Tecza, the king's daughter, loves Alvarado, one of the Spanish captains, and she lets the Spanish soldiers into the palace. After a fierce battle, she is the only surviving Aztec, and the Spanish allow her to depart in peace. Alvarado then comes to court the last of the Aztecs and wins her.
